Refund policy

I have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To start a return, you can contact me at hello@carlaj.co.uk. 
If your return is accepted, I'll provide instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to me without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs.

 Your returned item:

  • Must be returned undamaged and in its original packaging.
  • Must be insured to the full value of the painting as you are still responsible for it whilst in transit.
  • Please retain proof of postage and I recommend sending the item tracked. I cannot refund items that do not arrive back, or arrive damaged. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

Because of the nature of the following items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I'm unable to accept returns for:

  • Commissions
  • Art Prints

Please note - the colours in your prints may vary slightly to what you see on your screen.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact me immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that I can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
I'm unable to accept returns on commissions or art prints. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
I will notify you once I've received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
