Over the course of three workshops, we'll use fun, fast-paced art exercises designed to quieten that inner critic and develop a mindset of artistic bravery.
- Workshop 1 - Mark Making
- Workshop 2 - Colour
- Workshop 3 - Composition
Each workshop builds on the knowledge you gained from the previous one.
This series is perfect for absolute beginners, seasoned artists stuck in a rut, or anyone who wants to bring a more confident, less tentative approach to their creative life.

Join me as we dive into the beautiful world of hand painted collage papers.
Over the course of the day, you'll learn how to create your own unique papers, then use them to build a striking mini-series of compositions.
This workshop focuses on the exciting process of material making and mindful composition.
What you'll learn:
- The use of a limited colour palette
- Experiment with interesting ways to create exciting marks & patterns
- How to print with fresh foliage & create organic decorative elements
- How to find balance & movement in your compositions
- Various ways to bring depth to your finished pieces
Abstract botanical workshop
Friday 13 November
10am - 3pm
The Studio, Portlooe, Looe
Join me as I teach my intuitive process of building exciting layers with different mediums.
We will be using inks, acrylic, pens & stencils to create a beautiful abstract botanical piece full of energy & detail.
Experimenting with organic shapes, mark making & contrast, this workshop will teach you to enjoy the process more than focussing on the outcome.

- Ways to let go of perfectionism & bring freedom into your initial marks
- How to bring energy, movement & light into your abstract floral art
- Embrace "happy accidents" as you introduce pattern
- How to create depth & contrast with colour & tone
